Roger Adams Retires from Lakeland Tankers
Roger Adams of Lakeland Tankers Ltd has retired after more than 45 years in the lp gas industry. Roger has sat on many industry technical and committees, including UKLPG’s technical & safety management team.
Roger said: “After more than 45 years in the tanker industry, I have taken the decision to hang up the order book and slip quietly under the radar into early retirement. The industry has been good to me and I have achieved more than I could have hoped for and have no regrets.
“It gives me great satisfaction to have played a part in the development of Lakeland Tankers over the years. I want to say a sincere thank you to my chairman, co-workers and clients for their support and friendship.”
UKLPG technical & safety manager Richard Hakeem said: “I and everyone at UKLPG would like to wish Roger all the best in his retirement. Roger has been a big personality in the lpg industry over the years and he will be hugely missed. Since I started at UKLPG, and many years before that, Roger has been an enthusiastic member of the technical & safety management team and his vast knowledge and support for the industry will be hard to fill.”
